Personal pronouns are words used in place of names and nouns to refer to people, animals and things.

The subject of a sentence is someone who performs an action:
Vi dricker mycket te.
We drink a lot of tea.
Du gillar musik.
You like music.
The object of a sentence is someone that something is done to, or something that is the focus of the performed action:
Vi saknar dem hela tiden.
We miss them all the time.
Har du sett honom?
Have you seen him?
The possessive forms mark ownership:
Jag gav mina biljetter till henne.
I gave my tickets to her.
Min hund är större än din.
My dog is bigger than yours.
