7. Personal pronouns as objects
Personal pronouns are words that are used in place of nouns to mean people, beings and things. When the person, being or thing meant by the pronoun is the object (target) of an action, some pronouns change:
Singular:
I -> me
you -> you
he, she, it -> him, her, it
Plural:
we -> us
you -> you
they -> them
Don’t make me laugh.
She loves you.
Give this book to him.
The audience liked us.
Hanna saw them together.
